Each and every floral arrangement or gift basket we create is carefully crafted by our professional and experienced florists.



If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, all our floral gifts are backed by our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee of a ‘hassle-free’ replacement or your money refunded. Let us know and we will expeditiously take steps to fully satisfy you, replace to satisfaction or give your money back. This guarantee is valid regardless of the destination of the delivery. Substitution Policy



The appearance of a bouquet or an arrangement may slightly vary due to the seasonal, cultural and regional availability of the flowers. In the event of a temporary regional product shortage, it may be necessary to modify the gift you ordered. So there is a possibility that if you specify a specific color or a specific kind of flower or plant, especially in foreign countries, it may not be available at the time and place of delivery. In such a case, a substitution may be necessary and will be done automatically unless you specifically forbid it. You can be assured that the look, theme and color scheme of the original arrangement will not be compromised by any substitution. Furthermore, we also guarantee that we will only substitute temporary unavailable flowers for flowers or container of an equal or higher value. Please also note subtle color variations can happen due to local flowers availability.



Teleflora containers are available only in North America. The capability to deliver a Teleflora arrangement using a specific container is dependant on its availability in the inventory of a local florist. If the container is not available locally, a container of an equal or higher value and using the same theme, will be used unless you specify in the comment field of the order that you want to cancel the order in case of non availability. In there is an issue you will be advised.

Delivery and Fulfilment



With «BOTANICA - Flowers, Fine Jewelry & Teas» you are guaranteed a delivery that will be on time every time if you comply with the guideline table hereafter. Our delivery system is efficient and can react to most of your special requests. Also, please note that if you request a delivery in a North-American time zone that is located west of ours (Eastern Time Zone), the time constraints are extended accordingly.

 Because of the time zones, it is almost impossible to insure same day delivery. Please allow at least TWO working days to insure proper delivery when your order is going to Europe, Asia, Africa or Australia.  




 



All flower orders to be delivered outside of the Quebec City region are entrusted to dependable master-florists in the region of delivery. These master-florists have been carefully selected by BOTANICA in order to insure the highest level of quality and your complete satisfaction. Special charges may apply for deliveries in some countries or specific remote regions of some countries.



 



Delivery Times



We do deliveries 7 days a week in the Quebec City Region with the exception of some legal holidays such as July 1rst, June 24th, December 25th and January 1rst.



Delivery is normally carried out between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m (before 5:00 PM for businesses).



If an Evening Delivery is requested (6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.) a surcharge fee of $5.00 will be added. If an urgent delivery is requested (delivery in less than 3 hours), a surcharge fee of $5.00 will also be added.



We are not able to guaranty we will accommodate specific delivery time requests except for weddings and funerals. This is especially true on days like Mother’s Day and Valentine’s Day. But we will do our best to accommodate your request. You can specify time zones such as morning delivery (9:00 a.m. to noon), afternoon delivery (noon to 5:00 p.m) or evening delivery (after 5 :00 p.m.)



Deliveries to camping grounds, military bases, ships, ports, and airports can sometimes be very complex and consequently cannot be guaranteed. But rest assured that we will do our best to locate the recipient and complete the delivery.



Is is not possible to accept orders to Post Offices Boxes or Rural Route addresses.



 



What if the recipient is not home ?



In most cases, « BOTANICA –Flowers, Fine Jewelry & Teas » will try to ascertain in a subtle way if there is someone on the premises by calling the recipient phone number that you provided during the ordering process. Nevertheless, we recommend that you provide us with specific instructions in case the recipient is not home.



If your instructions indicate specifically that you don’t want us to call the recipient to verify presence and there is no one home, we will have to charge you a redelivery fee each time we will try to deliver unsuccessfully. We will also do the same if the address provided was wrong.



If no specific instructions are provided and if nobody is present at the address of delivery, our driver will choose, based on his best professional judgment:

  • Call back the recipient and plan a new delivery at a more convenient time.


  • Leave a delivery note on the door  that would contain specific instructions such as:


    • Please call the driver or the shop to plan a new delivery at your earliest convenience at this number;


    • The arrangement has been left in a sucure/protected place on your premises which is detailed on this note;


    • The arrangement has been left with the neighbor whose address is apprearing hereafter.




  • Come back the next day  and reattempt delivery.



If  after two business days we still haven’t completed the delivery,  we will contact you to validate the provided coordinates and to obtain new instructions.


 


Deliveries to Hospitals, Long Term Care Establishments or Retirement Homes



When you place an order for delivery to a hospital, a long term care establishment or a retirement home, please make sure you provide us with the complete name (maiden name for women in Quebec) and room number of the recipient and the phone number of the establishment.



 



Payment



Prices on our web boutique are calculated in Canadian dollars. Once the order will have been confirmed, a detailed printable confirmation receipt will appear on the screen and a email receipt will also be mailed to the email address you have provided. The transaction will appear on your next credit card statement. If you reside outside Canada, your credit card company will automatically apply the current exchange rate if applicable and will indicate the purchase cost in your own currency on your next credit card statement



Our floral department presents arrangements and products that are available anywhere in North America. For overseas orders, please use our International Catalog instead.



You’ll notice that for flower arrangements, plants and gourmet baskets, the pricing varies according to the country of delivery. This is due to minimum order amount requirements specified for each country of delivery. Please also note that prices may vary on Valentine's Day and Mother’s Day.

Taxes



Sales taxes are applied based on the location of the recipient. You will be able to see the final price (including taxes and service charge if any) during the check out process.



Deliveries to the province of Quebec are subject to the Federal Sales Tax called Goods & Services Tax (GST) and the Quebec Provincial Sales Tax (QST). Orders sent to the rest of Canada are subject to only GST or HST (Harmonised Sales Tax) depending on the province of the destination.

Please note that services charges such as wiring fees for international deliveries or any special services are deemed performed in the store premises and hence must be subject to GST and QST, regardless of the destination.



Local Delivery Fees



Our local delivery zone covers all the Metropolitan Quebec City Region. A global $ 9.00 CAN delivery fee is included in any deliveries in the core Quebec City region. An additional fee may be applied in the extended zone or when timed or expressed deliveries are requested and are possible. We deliver 7 days a week. `



As a result of the 2002 episode or municipal reorganization in Quebec, several municipalities of the Region have been amalgamated or merged. The net effect is that he core delivery zone of BOTANICA now covers Québec City, Ancienne-Lorette and Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures on the North Shore of the Saint-Lawrence River and Lévis on the South Shore. But since the name of the old cities and parishes are still often used, please find hereafter a detailed list of the places BOTANICA can deliver to locally:

If the sender strictly forbid us to contact the recipient and if no one is home at the time of the delivery, the price of a redelivery will be added to the invoice for each additional try until the recipient receives the gift.



 



International Deliveries



BOTANICA is able to deliver just about anywhere in the world. However, due to different customs, product availability and prices in each country, the ordering process can differ. Also, because of the time zones, it is almost impossible to insure same day delivery outside of North America. Please allow at least TWO working days to insure proper delivery when your order is going to Europe, Asia, Africa or Australia. Overseas orders are subject to national minimum order amounts that vary greatly from one country to another. The price of the available products in a specific country will be adjusted when you select the appropriate country. But be aware that special charges may apply in some countries. If this happens, we will notify you promptly by electronic mail for confirmation before charging your credit card. Wiring or Relay Fees for Europe. Australia, Africa and Asia will be a minimal $14,00 CAN plus taxes (GST and QST). Flowers and delivery will not be subject to taxes. Also, regional availability of flowers and plants, and the exchange rate may modify the price and the content of the wired bouquet. Flowers may also be more expensive on special holidays such as Valentine's Day or Mother’s Day. Please also note that in some countries, local regulations and customs make some items not available.
